Online Session on Awareness on “Worker’s Day” and “Maharashtra Day”
Date of the event: 1st May, 2023.
Objectives:

Spreading awareness about the worker’s day and Maharashtra Day.
·
Students were enlightened by the importance of both the days and its fascinating
history.
·
A great initiative to pay respect to all the hard work of the workers
who work day and night to make our life comfortable and easy.
About the event:
· On the occasion of Maharashtra day
and Workers day, Pragyan forum, under the Department of Information
Technology and Computer science (Data Science), organized an online seminar on
1st May, 2023.
· The event started at 3:30 pm in online
mode.
· The link was shared to all the
students and faculties before the event.
· Posters were made for the promotion
of the event.
· The event was open for all the
students of our college.
· Ms. Sachi Motghare started the event
by welcoming everyone in the event.
· The Head of Department of Information
Technology and CS (Data Science), Prof. M. M. Baig, enlightened everyone
about the Worker’s Day and Maharashtra Day and its importance.
· The students of department prepared a
power point presentation to acknowledge everyone about this day and its
history.
· After the presentation, there was a
fun quiz activity regarding Maharashtra day and Workers day in which everyone
including students and teachers participated actively.
· The session was concluded by a
heartwarming and delightful song sung by Mr. Sameer Meshram, 2nd
Year IT.
